Adam Scharfman is Chief of Staff of Jasper Ridge Partners. Adam is responsible for managing strategic priorities and projects for the CEO, as well as communication and coordination across teams. Prior to joining Jasper Ridge in 2025, Adam was an Associate Director at Bridgewater in Connecticut, where he worked closely with senior leadership to serve the firm’s strategic client relationships. Previously, Adam was a Director for Natural Resources and Energy at Commonwealth Bank of Australia in Hong Kong, and held positions in Debt Capital Markets at BNP Paribas in Hong Kong and Standard Chartered in Singapore and New York. Adam earned a BA in Chinese Literature from Yale University and an MSc in Modern Chinese Studies from the University of Oxford.
