Managing Director

April Chou is a Managing Director of Jasper Ridge Partners where she leads the team that focuses on philanthropic and impact advisory services. Additionally, she co-teaches a course on philanthropy and impact investing at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and is a moderator with the Aspen Institute and the Pahara Institute. April also serves as a trustee of the Charles and Helen Schwab Foundation and Western Governor’s University, and she is the Vice Chair of the Princeton University Alumni Council. Prior to joining Jasper Ridge, April served in executive roles at the OneTen Coalition, the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, KIPP Northern California Public Schools and NewSchools Venture Fund. She has advised prominent families and foundations on their philanthropy and served as an executive coach to foundation and social sector CEOs. April began her career with McKinsey & Company, working with clients in the U.S., China and Singapore. April earned a BA from the School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University, an MA from the Stanford Graduate School of Education, and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
