Sami Mesrour is a Partner of Jasper Ridge Partners where he focuses on top-down asset allocation, portfolio structuring and risk positioning. Additionally, Sami has responsibility for a range of public market investments. Prior to joining Jasper Ridge Partners in 2018, Sami was Chief Investment Officer of BlackRock’s multi-strategy hedge fund, and previously spent time within fixed income as a global macro portfolio manager and the Head of Asset Allocation for the firm’s quantitative hedge fund, as well as in securitized asset trading, cash management and credit analysis. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and serves as the president of the CFA Society of San Francisco. Sami earned a BA in History from Columbia University and an MSc in Global Economic History from the London School of Economics.
